Infected Blood Inquiry - Monday 24th September

Attendees are advised to arrive at Church house by 10am - 11am for the registration process.

  • 11:30 AM - Commemoration

  • 14:00 PM - Address by the Chair followed by Opening Statement by Counsel to the Inquiry (Jenni Richards QC)



Infected Blood Inquiry - Tuesday 25th September

Please aim arrive for registration from 9:00. Preliminary hearings will begin at 10:00 and finish at around 16:30. On this day a range of opening statements will be made. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.


Infected Blood Inquiry - Wednesday 26th September

Please aim arrive for registration from 9:00. Preliminary hearings will begin at 10:00.

At 10 AM Steven Snowden QC (instructed by Collins Solicitors) on behalf of 661 individual core participants and Factor 8 will deliver an opening statement, his statement is due to last an hour and conclude at 11 AM.

Following this other statements will be heard.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Please note that between 2 PM and 3:55 PM on this day opening statements will given by the Department of Health and other Public Bodies. It is possible that some members may not wish to attend these statements.

At 3:55 PM reply by Inquiry Counsel will be given (if required) which will be followed by closing remarks from the Inquiry chair. The day and therefore the Opening Hearings will conclude at 16:30 PM.
